Dear Friend of the Community:
The gardeners and board of the Hometown Community Garden wish to thank you for your interest, support, and encouragement, and to extend a cordial invitation to all our donors and community leaders to attend the first Tour of the Garden on Monday June 1st from 5:00 to 6:00pm. This event is free and open to the public. Free refreshments will be provided and your input on the project will be welcomed.
We are very pleased with the progress of the Garden so far and especially eager to welcome more participation from area youth and children's groups during the summer.
If you are able to attend the tour, please feel welcome; if not please drop by on one of our gardening days, which are Mondays from 5:30 to 6:30pm and Wednesdays from 9:00 to 11:00am. The gardeners and students will be delighted to show you around.
Hometown Community Garden is located in DeFuniak Springs' historic district west of the water tower on South 11th Street between the railroad track and Live Oak Avenue. For more information contact Kendra Zamojski at (850) 892-8172.
Sincerely,
April Whitaker, President HCG
